Hello all, I’m Shauna and today we are going to put some music in our layouts. Since April has 5 Thursdays, this weeks challenge is the wild card challenge and I get to pick any type of challenge I want.  I love music, and to sing, too bad I can’t carry a tune. But one way I get to express my love of music is to use song lyrics on my layouts. My tastes run all over the place, so there is no telling what kind of lyric you’ll find on one of my pages.

Challenge

Use a song lyric or song title some where on your page.  I’m not going to pick which song you use, that is up to you.  Maybe you have someone that is “smoother than a new jar of skippy“, or maybe a “wild child” or maybe you’ve been “walking on sunshine“.  You pick the song, and use it somewhere on the layout.

My Layout

My layout uses the song Goin’ to the Chapel by the Dixie Cups.  I picked this song because my niece recently got married and I took a ton of photos.  Plus the week before she got married she posted a video of her husband to be singing “Goin to the courthouse to get a marriage license“. So I knew it would be the perfect song choice.  I decided to use the lyrics as my journaling and the title as my title.

The Kit I Used
