Saturday With The Stars: You Matter

Happy Saturday to everyone out there. I hope all of you in the US had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you’ve now had time to digest everything and you are now looking forward to a wonderful Holiday season.

This week’s Saturday With The Stars is a kit that was released a couple weeks ago, but we didn’t get a chance to really showcase. The kit is called You Matter and it is yet another amazing kit by Trixie.

So let’s take a look at what our stars created with this wonderful kit.

Shauna’s page drew me in with her title, I love it. Then I looked at the pictures and journaling and I think that Shauna is an awesome sister and I love that she keeps documenting all her sister is going through. Shauna’s cluster work is a nice addition to the layout.

I love the way Carrin bordered her layout. What a great way to be able to use just one background paper without the layout feeling flat. I love all of her cluster work along the photo and the cute little heart elements next to her photo.

I think Lori’s page is an important page for any mom of a pre-teen/teenage daughter to create. It’s at this time in life they really need to know that they do in deed matter. I love that her title is the simple word art, but those two words are so powerful. I like the way her photo is matted on 3 different papers and all the flowers on the layout.

Stacey’s page really got me thinking. I think it’s great that she got out with her kids, in her jammies, just to keep her kids happy. What a great thing to document. I love that her ‘matters most’ part of her title truly looks like it was stamped on with that slight division in her letters. I also like all the papers she was able to include in this one layout.

Talking about use of many papers in one layout, take a look at Erica’s page. I really can’t believe she used so many papers and this layout still looks so uniform. I love all the pictures she was able to include and that there was still plenty of room to journal all about her puppy.
