Today is Black Friday in the U.S. It is so named because this was traditionally the day that retailers started making a profit for the year as Christmas shopping picked up. Many Americans will brave the crowds and general craziness to grab gifts on sale today.

Now many people consider the day after Thanksgiving the official start of the Christmas Season! If you are starting your December Daily album today, welcome!
