Welcome to another week of Masters Monday! Today I’m bringing you a quick tip on how to get more out of your elements.

I am in love with elements. Seriously. I never think a page is done if it doesn’t have elements. I guess it’s what brings the cuteness factor up for me and I’m all about the cuteness factor. I definitely have those times, however when I just can’t seem to get use out of the elements I’d like to use. This is when you get creative. Use your elements in different ways.

I’ll show you my layout and then we’ll talk about a few things I did.

I used a template for my layout and the template called for leaves. Sometimes I get sick of using leaves, so I used a green bow element instead. The template also had places for bursts, the kit I used didn’t have bursts – so I made my own using the ric-rac included in the kit. The ric-rac also served as my journaling lines. Instead of using a ribbon border, I made my own with a couple word arts and another cute little element. Instead of a frame, I only framed 2 of the edges using ribbons. I didn’t use the same ribbon either, I used two different ones to add a little something more.
