Hello world, I’m Shauna one of Trixie’s Stars and today I am here to give you November’s Photo Challenge. I love a digital scrapbook challenge because it really helps me get started on a page.

Family Photo Layout Challenge

I think of November as family month, because it is the kickoff of a lot of time spent with my family. So your photo challenge this month is “Family.” Now family means lots of different things: for me, I have three dogs that I count as family, as well as a sister, brother, sister-in-law and nieces and nephews. What do you consider family? Do you have a close-knit family of three or four or a big extended family of lots and lots? I love all of my family, and spending time with them is one of my favorite things to do. We always have a good time together. We manage to laugh a lot…normally at each other. Sometimes it is that ability to laugh together that gets us through the darkest times.

I was going through some of my photos preparing for this challenge and realized I have very few serious photos of my family. I was going to create a layout of us looking all proper and such, but I quickly realized that just wasn’t going to happen. So instead, I did a layout from last Christmas that just made me laugh. My niece had gotten a life-sized cut-out of Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory. While taking photos of my brother’s family, we decided to include him. Yes, we are a little odd too.
