Hi everyone!!

It’s late and I’m beat… but, it seems a blog post is in order tonight! So, first off, I just wanted to pop in real quick and comment on the broken Alpha 2 link. I am so, so sorry about that! I don’t know what happened. I was in NJ with my family to celebrate my birthday today (and my blog was on autopost), so I am just now seeing that there was some difficulty. Again, my sincere apologies.

But!! As mentioned by one or two observant commentors, the #31 download IS working and it IS the second alpha. So, if you’ll just click on the #31, you’ll have the complete kit 🙂

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes, the kind words about the kit, and just for stopping by my blog all month. It’s been so much fun having so many visitors 🙂 And yes, I do have LOTS of fun things coming up and in the works. Next up is my newest super fab collab kit and guess what? It’ll be for the boys! 🙂 Thanks to one of my super funky, super cool gal pals, I’m getting out of my little girly box and we’re whipping out a boy kit together. It should be fun 🙂 Look for that to release in the next couple of weeks. Plus! I’m going to be starting a Kit of the Month club through my personal store (more on that soon)… and I promise, I will bring back a Daily Download kit again in the future, too! So, if you haven’t already bookmarked my blog or added it to your feed reader, PLEASE DO! Then, you’ll be sure to catch EVERYTHING! 🙂

While the closing of Digital Candy was chaotic, unexpected, emotional, awful, and all sorts of not-fun-stuff, it did force me to take a step back for a bit and take a break. And, I’ve discovered… I needed one more than I knew. I’ve learned some things about myself and about who you can and can’t trust in the digi world – I’m coming out of this a little wounded, but also a lot wiser and more confident in myself – and in the fact that I need to make more careful decisions about how much of myself I “give” in the future. Don’t all of us women need to step back and do some of that self-evaluation sometimes? It’s been a blessing in disguise.

So, where have I been? LOL… Well, I’ve spent the better second half of May hanging out a LOT at one of my favorite places again (Scrap Matters)… I figured I had some time and I have remembered why I used to love hanging there so much! So, I did a whole lot of Speed Scraps, a slew of monthly challenges (can’t wait for that 40% off coupon!) and participated in their Queen of Scrap contest. Now, I’m nowhere close to winning QOS, but I didn’t do it for that, anyway. I did it because I desperately needed the personal scrapping time. It’s been good for my soul, has recharged my batteries and ended up helping me feel like I accomplished something this month, in the midst of all this chaos surrounding Digital Candy. In total, I completed 44 layouts this month… and that’s a RECORD for me. I don’t think I’ve EVER done that before lol. And, I’m quite proud of how most of those layouts turned out! I’ll try to compile them into a big ‘ole graphic tomorrow and post them here so you guys can see that I do scrap sometimes, too!

But, its officially back to business for me, now. Tomorrow, I’m gonna work my tail off to get more of my old kits listed at my stores… gonna start working on the new collab kit I mentioned earlier… and I also have a challenge to post at Inspiration Lane, as well as some other big news in the works, too. June promises to be another wild and crazy month – but, thank goodness, in a GOOD WAY!! I’m bursting at the seams and can’t wait to start sharing ALL of this stuff with you guys 🙂
