Since the October Collab kit, Boo-tiful Night was a collaboration between Trixie Scraps and JennCK Designs this Sunday Spotlight is with Jenn.
How long have you been designing?
Just over a year now.
What inspires you?
I get most of my inspiration from color. I’m always making palettes from photos and love to experiment. I love deep, rich colors, but I try to dabble outside of my comfort zone, too. I also love to mix and match styles in both designing and scrapping.
How did you and Trixie meet?
The usual ways, I guess. I do work for her on her team and we both sell at mutual stores.
What is your favorite color to design with?
Blue (or green) 🙂
Was this your first collaboration with Trixie?
Yes.
Do you have time to create layouts for your photos?
I’m on several creative teams in addition to designing, so I always make time to scrap; it’s important to me.
Were you a paper scrapper first?
I sure was. I still do paper scraps and crafts, but not nearly as much as I used to.
Do you find that you tend to lean towards a particular theme when you design?
I love flowers – all types of flowers. It’s tough not to put them in everything.
When you are not designing or scrapping what do you do?
I love playing games of all kinds (computer, portable, board, card) and we travel a lot. I love sightseeing in new places and trying new things. I also love to cook and bake and enjoy trying new recipes.
