The number one complaint that I hear when talking about December Daily is that so many days are just…ordinary. Nothing seasonal. Nothing merry. Just the usual, work, school, laundry, cooking and so on.

But, there is beauty in those ordinary days. Get a picture of your office or place of work, especially if someone has put up decorations. Snap pictures of the seasonal displays at the grocery store. Scan some of your kids special art projects or school papers.

Or, go even further and intentionally make the day magical. Surprise your family with a special Christmas treat. Seasonal candy or extra-special baked goods don’t have to be time-consuming. Read a holiday-themed book at bedtime and be sure to set the timer on your camera so you can get in the shot.

Every day doesn’t have to be wall-to-wall Christmas magic. It’s the little sprinkles of the season that add up to wonderful memories!
