Hello Trixie Scraps fans and welcome to December!  I cannot believe that we are in the last month of the year already.  I just do not know where the time has gone.  Today I am bringing you a kit fit for the season by North Meets South Studios, My Shelf Elf.

Just one look at this kit, and suddenly I am in the Christmas spirit.  I just love that cute little elf and all of the Christmas themed elements in this kit.  Those cute little elf legs are just too adorable.  If your family has a Shelf Elf that comes out the play during the period between Thanksgiving and Christmas, this pack is just perfect for documenting his daily adventures.  If not, the elements are versatile enough to scrap all kinds of holiday photos.  Need some inspiration?  Let’s take a peek at a few of the layouts that our Scrap Stars came up with.

Carrin, has ambitious plans this year and is planning to document the daily adventures of her family’s Shelf Elf, Norman.  This page will make an absolutely perfect cover for the album.  I really love all the patterned paper strips that she’s stacked on this page and the fabulous stitched elements.

I really love this creative use of the kit by Helen S.  What kid wouldn’t be thrilled to get a personalized newsletter from the North Pole?  I love the way she has arranged this page to look like a newspaper and the fun little pops of color with those cute elements.

This pretty layout by Stacy takes the kit in a bit of a different direction.  The use of that grey and white paper in the background gives a softer feel to the page, and all of the cutouts of fun, bright, patterned papers frame the central photo perfectly and really make it the focal point.  I love the way the ornaments are hanging down from the top of the page too.

This kit also lends itself perfectly to visits with Santa.  This layout by Lori is all the proof you need.  That fun candy cane striped paper that she used at the back of her paper stack to frame the page works fabulously, and I really love the patterned circles and “Nice List” stamp used around the photos.
