Hello, Trixie fans and friends! This installment of Wisdom Wednesday is a tad bittersweet for me. I originally had this blog post planned for last month, but then a family issue intervened, and I felt the need to delay my post. But time helps heal things, and today I am here to share a favorite quote from Charles M. Schulz. His words are simple, yet oh-so-true.

When I first planned this post, our family had just adopted a very wiggly and tiny puppy. She kept us entertained (and still does). But then our ailing senior dog crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Throughout the grieving process, that tiny puppy that we adopted helped cheer us up; she definitely brought some happiness back into our home. This reinforced my desire to share this simple little saying with you. In the words of Charles Schulz,

Happiness is a warm puppy.

I realize that not everyone is a dog lover like Charles Schulz was. Perhaps to you, happiness is a warm kitten. Or perhaps it is a warm hug. Or perhaps it is cuddling under a warm blanket with a good book and a cup of tea. Whatever it is that brings you happiness, I encourage you to make that thing a focus of your layout. This could be a great page to add to an all-about-me book. I know that those types of pages can be difficult for some of us, but I find that scrapping about things that we love can be a great way to document ourselves in more easily than pouring our hearts out on a page.
