Special Request Question For June
I am a high school teacher and we just wrapped up the 2014-2015 school year this past Friday. I am also a big planner, so I have a calendar stuck to my fridge with all the activities I plan to do with my children over the next few weeks of summer vacation. We’ll be going to a lot of free classes at our local libraries, taking some day trips and heading to my parents’ house to splash around in their pool. So let’s hear about your plans for the summer…will you be vacationing or staycationing? Have you made big plans or will you fly by the seat of your pants?

I moved to Michigan from Texas,(where I’ve been my whole life) and I am planning on hitting as many beaches and state parks as possible. Got my park pass and plans for hitting the UP the second half of June. Already been camping twice and to one of the falls near my home.
I believe we will be doing more “staycationing” this year with a few day trips and some small Summer Bucket list activities for the kids. My son will be going to a summer preparedness class for Kindergarten; so I will also be spending a lot of time this Summer being a taxi! LOL! I would love to win “Showers of Love”!
