Hello, Trixie fans! It’s time for another edition of Wisdom Wednesday, where we share a favorite quote or saying with you, and then scrap with it. This week’s quote is lengthy, but it struck a chord with me, and I hope that it will with you as well.

At our house, we are gearing up for the last day of school. This has provoked a lot of reflection at the past year, and I don’t mind saying that it’s been a difficult year. As so when I saw this quote from author Asha Tyson, I knew that I had to share it.

Your journey has molded you for your greater good, and it was exactly what it needed to be. Don’t think you’ve lost time. There is no short-cutting to life. It took each and every situation you have encountered to bring you to the now. And now is right on time.

Asha Tyson’s words hit home with memories of my daughter’s recent transition to a new school following a move. It was a rocky road, but she toughed it out, and has come out on the other side with new friends, a renewed spirit, and a newfound sense of independence.
