Saturday With The Stars: Spring Fling

Regardless of what the weather in your neck of the woods may be doing, the US calendar says that it is officially Spring! So, today we’re gonna jump start our spring and share some wonderful work from our team using the wonderful kit that is Spring Fling.

Isn’t this kit just beautiful? I love that it just feels springtimey. The flowers are so realistic that I can almost smell them. I’m not a huge fan of the color green, but this kit uses just the right shades and I find I’m actually drawn to the green. So let’s see what our Stars bring out with this kit.

Laina starts us off with her layout that is called Welcome Spring. What better way to bring in Spring than with an Easter layout? I love all the fun tucked in photos on this layout as well as Laina’s use of the flower elements.

Lori’s page just screams Spring. I love her beautiful photo and the way she bordered it with floral elements. She chose a wonderful arrangement of photos and I love the way they all just work together.

MK’s page may not be completely Spring related, but I love the way she used this kit for her layout. I love the clusters and frame around the circle photo. I also love the subtle use of the glittered leaf element.

The next two Stars chose to use this kit in a non-conventional way and you know I love that.
Shauna’s up first. I love that she used such a cheery kit on a page with photos that aren’t quite as cheery. I love the bit of irony that creates. Shauna has a beautiful flower cluster on this page and made great use of papers.

Carrin’s layout will leave us this week. I absolutely love that her photos draw us in immediately. I love the way she created her title and put different pieces together to create it. I also like that she kept the outer circle open and her choice of papers as well.
