Sentiment Sunday November 24, 2013 {GRATITUDE}

Greetings and salutations, Trixie Scrappers! It’s November… I know, where did the year go? This week is one that most folk in the US look forward to all year, because it ends with a four day weekend and Thanksgiving. So it only seemed appropriate that this month’s Sentiment Sunday should be GRATITUDE.

Since I’m a Canadian and our Thanksgiving was last month I took a slightly different approach in my layout as you’ll see. I have much to be thankful for, and last week I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the people you’ll see in photos on my layout.

My journalling, the guts of this layout, is too hard to read in this format so I’ll share what I’ve said.
“Now, more than ever, I’m grateful for my union. I’m grateful not only for the help they’ve provided me personally in the past, but for the help provided daily to my coworkers across the province. Now, more than ever, I’m grateful for the work they do to protect safe patient care for everyone, no matter their illness. Now, more than ever, I’m grateful for the unstinting willingness to take on the hard tasks of protecting a publicly-funded and publicly-delivered health care system from callous decisions driven by ideology and based purely on money. Now, more than ever, we must stand together to advocate for the people we serve… our patients and their families. NOW, more than EVER!”
