Saturday With The Stars: New Kid In Class

It’s Saturday again and we have a fun, new kit to show you today.

Now that school is in full swing for most, if not all of us, this kit is one you will use. It’s called New Kid In Class and it was released at Gotta Pixel as part of September’s GGI sale.

Once again, I am in love with this color scheme and it’s totally appropriate for a school themed kit. I also love how many fun elements are in this kit along with all the wordart. There are so many fun sayings and I like that this kit isn’t aimed at any one age group. This kit also lends use to many different happenings during a school year.

Let’s take a look at just how our Stars made use of this kit.

I love Kassie’s background paper choice. It totally looks like a desktop with papers on top of it. Using the sepia tone for her photos helps add to her layout. She has some beautiful clusters on her page and I love the school years on the little star elements.

Lori’s page has a fun feel to it. I love the arrows pointing to the title. I love her photos as well. Lori also has some amazing clusters on her page and I love the combination of alphas she used for her title.

Jennifer made great use of whitespace. I also like all the layered paper stripes she used. She also used a journaling card in the background, love that idea.

I love that MK made great use of photo frames. I like the way she positioned the arrows and how she also mixed up the alpha for her title. What I really like about this layout though is the scattered paper clips.

Stacey used a wordart for her ‘title’ and kept her journaling simple. She has some fun layers and clusters in her layout as well.
