Saturday with the Stars {Got Glasses?}

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you are all getting the chance to relax a little this weekend. Today I have a brand new Trixie Scraps kit to share with you, so let’s get right to it. Say hello to Got Glasses?

This kit was released on Tuesday as part of the Gotta Grab It sale at gotta pixel, and I have to say, I just love the Trixie Scraps take on this fun color palette. Let’s take a look at some of the fun layouts that the Scrap Stars created using this great kit.

Stacey created this great page showing off her daughter’s new reading glasses. I love how much fun she is having in the photos! She’s made great use of a variety of the fun patterned papers in the kit, and the ombre alpha make for a great title.

Helen captured some fun photos of her little one playing with some sunglasses on this page. The sunburst design with the different colored papers at the top of the page is fantastic, and I really love her cute little clusters too. The title for this page is an absolutely perfect finishing touch.

I love all of the white space on this page by returning Scrap Star Bree. She’s made great use of a few brightly colored papers and elements to great effect. The stamp styled frames look fabulous, and I also really like how she has positioned her journaling.

I’m blown away by how well the colors in this kit match the pictures on Jessica’s layout! It seems like the kit was just made for these adorable photos. Her daughter is just too cute in those pics, and I love how well that fun background paper shines through. What a fabulous page!

Last, but certainly not least, our very own Tracy got her scrapping mojo in gear and created her own page using this kit! I really love her fun title and all those paper cut outs stacked in behind the photos. The neat stacked photo look on the left hand photo is pretty awesome too. Those sweet little floral clusters are a great finishing touch to pull the whole page together.
