Saturday With The Stars: June 2013 Templatetopia

We’ve made it to another weekend, Trixie fans. We all know that that means another week of Saturday With The Stars.

I am so stinkin’ excited about this weeks feature and I hope you will be as well. This week we’re showing you, Templatetopia for June 2013. You probably get sick of me saying how much I love templates, but I do and I am excited about all the templates that this pack has to offer.

There are so many different options available with this pack. Let me just name the small packs for you. We have A Banner Day Vol. 1, which is full of templates that incorporate banners in all shapes, sizes and forms. Then there’s Large & In Charge Vol. 4, featuring spots for large photos with a couple little photos thrown in as well. Then there’s 4-3-2-1 Vol. 2, a template for 1-4 pictures and there all so fun to look at. Finally comes Project Journal Card Vol. 2 – these are great layouts that help you make use of the journal cards that are available with some kits.

Let’s take a quick look at what some of our Stars did with this template pack.

Shauna made use of Large & In Charge and chose an awesome picture of her dog. I am loving the look on the dogs face and the placement in the layout that just draws your eye to the photo. Shauna has some great clusters on her layout as well and I love the journaling that really tells the story.

Kassie went to work with A Banner Day. I am loving the fact that she based her color palette and kit choice around her sons clothes. I also think this was a great layout to showcase school portraits. It’s also great to see so many different papers used on one layout.

Lori was also feeling Large & In Charge. I love that she flipped the template to work with her photos better. Her use of elements is just perfect as well and it really doesn’t overtake her layout. I am really liking how Large & In Charge helps bring your eye to the photos.

There you have it. Just a small snippet of what this template pack is capable of helping you create. This is one pack I am definitely going to get my hands on. I really like having template packs to fall back on on those days I’m just not feeling very creative. Plus, these templates are all so much fun to look at in template form, I can’t imagine how great they’ll look as real layouts.
