Sunday Spotlight - Debora (boba80) - Trixie Scraps Designs

Welcome to the Sunday Spotlight. I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend so far. Once each month, we like to shine the spotlight on one of YOU, a fan who is posting layouts in the Trixie Scraps gallery. For the last couple of months, while compiling the Sunday Show Offs slide show, I have noticed some fabulous layouts by Debora (boba80) and thought I’d get in contact with her to learn a little more about her. Before we get into her answers, take a look at this fun layout she created about her day at the Oceanium.

First off, Debora, could you tell us a little about yourself?

I’m Debora (aka boba80). I’m 31 years old (almost 32) and 10 years happily married with Dennis. We are the proud parents of our two little twin boys (identical) Bas & Wim 2.5 years old. I work as a nurse at the hospital for 3 days a week and we live in Rotterdam (second biggest city of the Netherlands).
I love to go to the Zoo with my boys.

Great to meet you Debora. So, how did you get into digi?

I never was a paper scrapper, but already used paint shop pro (still using that program) for doing fun stuff with pictures and after the birth of my twins I got to know the world of digiscrap from a friend and loved it. Now I can say I’m addicted.

I’m sure most of us around here can related to being hooked. How did you find Trixie Scraps?

I know Trixie Scraps from Gotta Pixel and Scrapbook Bytes. I love to participate in challenges on this forums.

The challenges are great aren’t they! It’s always fun to try something new. And what is your favorite Trixie kit?

At this moment, Little Ladybug. I love the cute elements and the colors.

That one is really adorable. Deborah, what do you like to scrap about and what inspires your layouts, (ie: templates, others galleries, kits, etc)?

I love to scrap about my two twin boys, they are a great subject. I get my inspiration from challenges, templates and watching other layouts (scraplift’s).

Scraplifting is such a great way to get inspiration. The gallery here is just full of great ideas. With two busy little boys around, when do you scrap?

Most of my scrap time is during the day when the twins play in the house or at night when they are sleeping and I sit on the couch with my laptop watching tv at the same time. Scrapping is my way to relax.

It is definitely a great way to relax. And, what do you listen to while you scrap?

What’s on the TV or on the radio.

Alright Debora, time for you to show off a little, show us your favorite layout that you’ve created with a Trixie Scraps kit.

I can’t choose, I’ve got two favorite layouts: Great Sea Lion,

and 2Cute.

Wow, I can certainly see why you love both of those layouts. Now for some silly questions. If you were trapped on a desert island what three things would you want to have with you?

My family (hubby and twins), a suitcase with books (I love to read) and My nespresso with lot’s off cupps (Can’t have a day without my nespresso).

Sounds like we’ve got another caffeine addict around here. And just one more fun one to wrap this up: If you could have dinner with anyone, famous or not, living or dead, real or fiction, who would it be and why?

My dad. He died when I was 17 years old and I would love to see him one more time. I would love to see the smile on his face when I let him see pictures of his two grandchildren he never got to know. One of them (Wim) is named after my Dad. I also would tell him how much I learned from him and how much I miss him.

I’m sure that many people can relate to that sentiment.
