Saturday With The Stars: Little Ladybug and Hints of Fall

Happy Saturday, everyone! This week I get the privilege of sharing with you not one, but two kits! Trixie has been one busy designer.

The first kit was released this past Monday and was September’s GAB. It is seriously my new favorite kit and it is called Little Ladybug. I was so excited to see this kit and it is one I’m sure I’ll use quite often. It was so much fun to see what the Trixie Stars came up with using this kit and here’s a few I really enjoyed.

I love pictures taken in the great outdoors, but never would’ve thought to use this kit for outdoorsy pictures – Stacey did. She also did a wonderful job with it. I love that even though she put her picture kind of off to the side, it still remains the focal point of the layout.

Jessica’s page is just so fun and playful. I love all the paper strips that form the little rainbows on each side. Jessica’s cluster work is amazing and I love the pictures of her cute little girl.

I love the way Shauna made her layout. I love all the papers she was able to include in this layout by layering little strips of them all. I also enjoy all the elements and clustering she did.

The next kit is a collab kit with Jen C. Designs called Hints of Fall. What a perfect time for this kit to come out and our stars did a wonderful job with this kit as well.

The first layout to catch my eye came from one of our guest artists for this month. The first thing that jumped out at me with Dawn’s layout was the title. I love how many times the word ‘trouble’ is used and the way it makes me want to look at the picture. Her photo is framed with clusters so wonderfully and I can’t help but laugh at that cute little girl – even if she is trouble.

Danna is another guest artist for September and I love the way her page just screams Fall. I love all the photos of her little girl and that she then included a family photo. Her cluster work is fantastic and I love all the layered papers she used as well.

The last layout comes from Kassie. I adore Kassie’s blended photo and the fact that she left her photos in a sepia tone. It really brings out the colors from the kit and makes her photos stand out that much more.
