How was your Christmas?! I hope you all had a wonderful day and got everything on your wish list. Today I have chosen one my favorite people EVER to spotlight. I have been blessed to have such an amazing friend live close to me that helped get me into digital scrapbooking and now together we are on two different creative teams, one of which is the talented Trixie Scraps. So here is a little something about my ‘bestie’ Kris:

1. Tell us something fun or unique about yourself?
I’m a classically trained violinist that has played professionally and has a 227 year old violin.

2. How did you find Trixie Scraps?
I found Trixie Scraps through my good friend Erica.

3. What do you scrap about?
I scrap about moments, about emotions, about traveling, about my kids, about whatever!

4. What inspires your layouts, ie: templates, others galleries, kits, etc?
Templates for sure. I live for them. I can be creative once I get an initial idea.

5. Why do like digital scrapbooking?
No mess, no pressure, thinner books that take up less room when you’re done, I like being on the computer, and it’s so much cheaper!

6. What kind of music do you like?
Almost everything except rap. I like pop, alternative, gospel, country, rock, etc.

7. What is one thing you love about where you live?
Being so close to so many cool things. I’m within 45 minutes of professional sports teams, the theater, the beautiful mountains, beautiful farmland, sunshine almost all the time, and pretty decent weather. (OK, that was more than one thing.)

8. Besides scrapbooking, what are some other interests you have?
Girls nights, crocheting, movies, getaways with the hubs, traveling, singing, board games, cooking…I could go on and on.
