Happy Wednesday everyone! Today is all about getting to know more about everyone involved in Trixie Scraps- CT members, FANS, and Trixie Collab partners. We as CT members and Trixie herself, are always checking out the layouts and designs that are created with her products, especially at Scrap Matters. So upload those layouts you create to the Trixie Scraps gallery at Scrap Matters and you just might grab the spotlight for yourself!
Today I thought I would turn the spotlight on our very own Stacy. She interviewed our CT lead Bree last Wednesday, so I figured it was her turn to feel the heat.

Q: Give us 5 words that describe yourself.
sarcastic, discerning, organized, believer, down-to-earth

Q: When did you start Digi scrapping?
Well, let’s see…my husband bought me a cheap-o scrapbooking program in 2006, but I had no idea that there was a digi world on the web until February 2007. I stumbled upon ScrappyPony’s blog and from there I was directed to some digi stores…and I’ve been hooked ever since.

Q: Did you paper scrap first?
Yes, but I didn’t enjoy it. A friend gave me some paper scrap supplies at my bridal shower, and I made a wedding album. I also made one or two albums for my daughter after she was born. But honestly, in my opinion, shopping for all that paper stuff was a lot more fun than actually using it!!

Q: How did you first find Trixie Scraps?
That would probably be when she first featured her “You’re a Star” kit on her blog…being the mom of a little diva, that kit caught my eye right off the bat!

Q: How long have you been a CT member of Trixie Scraps?
*runs off to dig through my files* Since October of 2009. We were Facebook friends, and I guess she liked the layouts I was posting, because she invited me to join her team. I’m SO glad she did, because this team is really like a family…I love being here!

Q: How would you describe your “style” of scrapping?
Yikes…that’s a toughie! I don’t know that I really have a style!

Q: Where do you find inspiration for your layouts?
Like a lot of scrappers, I find my inspiration in my child.

Q: What LO tool do you use most?
I’ll admit it…I’m a template-a-holic! I also love stitching, tags with strings, and foliage.

Q: What is your favorite past-time? (other than scrapping)
I love to read…I always have. I don’t read as much as I’d like since I started scrapping, but a good book is still my favorite escape! I just finished Jodi Picoult’s House Rules a few weeks ago, and it was wonderful. Right now I’m anxiously awaiting the final book in The Hunger Games trilogy.

Q: Tell us something unique about yourself.
Oh gosh, I think I’m one of the most boring people that I know! I honestly can’t think of anything…so I asked my hubby…he couldn’t give me an answer either! I asked my best friend and she said, “there’s nothing fake about you … you are a natural person … what you see is what you get.” So let me give a shout-out and big thanks to Sharon Kay for helping me out with that one!!!

Q: What is one of your fondest dreams for your life?
Well, of course I’d love to live long enough to see my daughter grown up and happy with a family of her own. Other than that, I’d love to visit each of the 50 states (and I’m about halfway there at the moment).

Q: If you could visit any foreign place in the world, where would you go?
I would LOVE to go to New Zealand. I fell in love with the scenery of The Lord of the Rings films and would love to see the country where the trilogy was filmed. I would also love to have a few months in Europe with a Eurail pass and a lot of money.

Q: If someone wrote a book about your life, what would be the Title?
“The Trivial Pursuits of a Digiscrapping Mama”

Q: What is your biggest pet peeve?
People who don’t watch their kids in the stores…people who don’t buckle up their kids…and people who can’t get off of the phone while they drive!
