We are starting a new thing on Wednesdays here on our blog, where we are going to ‘spotlight’ someone. It maybe a member of the team, a designer Tracy works with, or one of you- our readers and fans of Trixie Scraps products. We love going through the gallery to see what you create with Tracy’s kits, so link your finished layouts to the Trixie Scraps gallery at SM. As I was searching through the gallery looking at all the wonderful layouts, the gallery of nicolletteknight really struck me. She does great work with Tracy’s stuff and I wanted to show it off to you. Now let’s get to know her a bit better:

Tell us something fun or unique about yourself? Well, I’m going to go back to school in the fall to get my bachelor’s degree. I’m pretty excited about that!
How did you find Trixie Scraps? I was shopping a ScrapMatters sale, and came across her Yuletide kit. I loved it.
What do you scrap about? I mostly scrap my two daughters and my niece and nephews.
What inspires your layouts, ie: templates, others galleries, kits, etc? I get inspiration from everything, templates, galleries, my kids.
Why do you like digital scrapbooking? No mess! I can do a page while my kids play a game, and not have to worry about clean up, and still have plenty of time to play with them.
What kind of music do you like? Music is my life. If you were to browse my playlist you’d find everything from rock to classical to hip hop.
What is one thing you love about where you live? I live way up north, and one thing I love is we get all four seasons.
How did you get involved in digital scrapping? I was a paper scrapper, but a friend of mine kept telling me I should try digital. I finally figured it’d be easier, since I wouldn’t have to print my pictures first, and I wouldn’t have to drag everything out to do it.
When do you scrap? Whenever I get time! Usually I scrap either before I go to work in the afternoon, or after the girls are in bed for the night.
What is one of your favorite elements to use? I really love flair. I think they are so fun.
Besides scrapbooking, what is some other interests you have? I read like crazy. My husband bought me the True Blood books for Christmas. I read them all in about a month I think.
